The primary focus in Angvik is tranquility, quitness and peace. The hotel is situated directly by the seaside. The fjord gives us several activities such as seafishing, rowing with old fashion rowing boats, and swimming (for the vikings... ).

For cyclists, the surroundings are beautiful and gives you all kinds of challenges from steep mountain bike single tracks to relaxing cruising along the fjord. It is also close to the under rated "Aursjø road" which gives you 900 m altitude climbing in wild settings, before the road turns downwards to sea level again.

The area has a 9 hole golf course in Molde, and a new golf course in tingvoll. Try after golf at our terrace with a calming rosé wine.

Angvik Gamle Handelssted is the perfect location for vacation. You can stay in our hotel and within an hour you can find yourself at the point of big North Sea, or chilling in a café in Molde or Kristiansund or even mountain climbing in Eikesdalen, which is voted as one of the best hiking areas in the world.
